STEMWARE SERVICE

Cristal Thereseinthal
The history of Theresienthal begins in 1836. That year "Royally Privileged Crystal-Works Theresienthal" were founded by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. The name refers to the Royal heritage: it pays homage to Queen Therese, Ludwig's wife. Since the early days of the manufactory, Royal and aristocratic families appreciated the super quality of design and manufacturing of the fine glassware. Their sophisticated demands, in the late 19th century accomplished by US luxury department stores, showed the way: only excellent product, designed by artists and made by the most talented craftsmen got manufactured in Theresienthal. And the manufactory remained committed to its origins. Our craftsmen are still among the most skillful and best-trained in the industry. And they still create the most graceful glasses by applying the most challenging techniques and, hence, gain the appreciation of our sophisticated customers.

All manufacturing processes are made by our own workers, exclusively in our site. Therefrom we are ably to guarantee high, consistent quality, provide reasonable lead times and offer a high level of flexibility, which is so important for creating your personal glass collection. This catalogue presents our classical stemware. Some of them date back to the 1840s. Some series we carefully accomplished with new items. The latest series, OTTO and SAMIRA, were designed by Gottfried Palatin in 2010.
